ACL Rehabilitation

ACL  Rehabilitation

This is a common traumatic ACL tear in sports. Here, a medial directed force is applied to the knee.

Below is a quick overview of ACL Repair surgery

I was contacted recently by a woman who was injured and scheduled to have her ACL repaired. She was receiving Physical Therapy from a local clinic and was paying close to $130 for each visit! She asked me if KBFITNESSONLINE.COM could help, as she was referred to the site by her therapists. I explained that this site was designed as a guide from day one post-surgery, explaining what exercises you should do and when to do them following the surgery. I told her that there is even a follow along workout for each time frame following the surgery so that you can perform the exercises with a Physical Therapist's cues. The video exercises included in each of the kbfitnessonline.com protocols are the most common exercises used in most rehabilitation protocols for each diagnosis. But I advised that she request her doctor to inform her of any particular precautions following her surgery, as each patient is slightly different, and some surgeries may have more complications than others. www.kbfitnessonline.com also offers a community forum for rehab professionals and the clients themselves to discuss their progress. KB Fitness staff is accessible to answer any questions during your rehabilitation.
